This roof top solar electric system, designed and installed for Industry Canada, provides power
for the charging of a battery bank. The battery bank is used to run computer servers in the event
of a power failure. The solar system allows the computer network to be totally independent of the
grid, and not rely on fossil fuels to keep it running if the utility grid is not available.
