MicroFit in Ottawa

In 2009 Minto Apartments Ltd. contracted Ottawa Solar Power
to install a 10 kW solar electric system under the MicroFit
program. This apartment complex had challenges with
vents all across the roof. Our design team did extensive
shading analysis to find the best possible location to
maximize solar output. We believe this was one of the
first 3 systems in Ottawa to be connected under the MicroFit
program in 2009.
